Known in matrimonial circles as The Wedding Professor, Richard Cadieux has been a certified wedding consultant since 2002 and has given wedding counsel at over 700 weddings.

As the author of Smart Wedding Contracts, Cadieux’s primary mission is showing brides-to-be how to negotiate with and contract wedding vendors so that they get exactly what they want while vendors are given the opportunity to co-create beautiful weddings.

Working in unison with thousands of different wedding vendors at hundreds of wedding locations in the competitive Southern California marketplace has given Cadieux a unique insight into the real-life workings of the wedding industry.

Early in his wedding career Richard Cadieux was presented the “Rising Star” award by elected officials and top businessmen in the Inland Empire for creating the region's first Wedding & event Planning Center as well as assisting Palm Springs Life Magazine during the launch of their "Wedding and Honeymoon Planner".

The honor also recognized his collaboration with the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism while spreading word of the Palm Springs wedding brand throughout Southern California at travel,
tourism bridal shows.
